This project included the construction of 6 new bridges over Cypress Creek, Unit of Cypress Creek and Norfolk Southern Railroad on SR 66. The bridge types included structural steel and precast structural members. Two of the bridges required larger cofferdams constructed in pure sand which necessiated foundation seals. Extensicve track coordination was required for both the new construction and the bridge demolition. Major bridge quatities included 13,250 LF of driven h-piling, 2,000 CY of substructure concrete, 2,000 CY of superstructure concrete, 700,000 LB of reinforcing stell and over 750,000 LB of structural steel.
